It's an alternative version of our world where monstergirls are unknown to most of mankind, they work under secret societies that sometimes control big multinationals, sometimes countries through monarchies. They have been pulling the strings through most of human history and only reveal their true forms to their future husbands, once they choose them.

They also fight each other for control, they mostly don't like those who aren't part of their own society. Some examples would be Japan, which has an imperial family of kitsunes disguised as human royalty and are the ones really controlling the country, not the "democratic government". Paris is under the control of a Lilim who claimed it as her territory. Nobody dares to say otherwise. Lots of cities in North America are controlled by witch covens, etc.

I was making a map for it but never ended it. Maybe I should now.
