Hey, just wondering if there's some English VN projects going on other than shit like Katawa Shoujo. I joined a group that meant to make one years ago, but they were all lacking direction and their director didn't know how to give them any, so it fell apart.

God damn, I remember when Katawa Shoujou as a idea was inspired by something some Japanese artist draw up as a joke. We used to discuss it in a 'haha that would be pretty fucked up' kind of way, sort of like taking a genre to a new extreme just to prove you could.

I suppose all things considered it's done well for itself, though it does tend to take itself rather seriously. Also, lol, Kotaku sure got hold of this fast, watch out Anon, they are on the case!

Japanese and Korean blogs have covered it extensively, 2chn sometimes has KS threads, and the blog gets many hits from japan.
