It's not too uncommon, but I still find it weird. Eggs taste great by themselves, cooked in butter or oil, and maybe with a little cheese. Why would you want to overpower their flavor with ketchup? I tried that once, it was like someone had squirted thick, egg-textured ketchup all over my plate and forced me to eat it.

Then again, I tend to prefer most of my foods without extraneous condiments or spices. I'd never put salt or pepper on the aforementioned eggs, and I'll even eat some salads without dressing.
