How long did it take you guys to get through the core 2k/6k anki deck from the djt guide? After doing so, did you feel that going that far with isolated vocabulary studies helped you?
How do you guys get speaking practice?
Have you guys ever done irl classes? Are they even worth it anymore with all the resources online? Since I started with self study, I find that trying to enroll in a class is difficult because my skill set is all over the place. For example: I can read all the kana, and 1300 vocabulary words worth of kanji. I can conjugate all ichi and godan verbs into た and て forms. I know to add the い stem for adding masu to shit and the あ stem for the negatives
On the contrary, I didn't know how to nominalize a verb with こと until two weeks ago and still struggle with basic fucking particles like に, を, and で
It is for that reason I struggle with being able to fully commit to enrolling in a class.
