Now, seriously, I can't really begin to get my head around why Koharu must be the targed of so much contempt.
Yeah, she's not good at singing live because she lets her emotions get the best of her and thus more often than not she needs a recorded track playing in the background to help her scrape through. That's something that happens with every artist worth a damn, but you know what? That's old news. She overcame this encumberance eventually and her performances benefited greatly from it.
As of now, my only gripe remains that she sort of unlearned how to properly flect her voice, resulting in her going off-pitch more often than before. Just compare some of her early works to her latest ones and tell me if you can't notice a notable decline in voice quality.

Oh, and in regards to the accusations of having been unwarrantly favored by producers due to biases, I don't think voicing an anime character in a subpar series and having an early morning children show as the sole outlet for her unit can be considered something.
Girl still has a long way to go before reaching the top of the ladder.
