Smart Doll made one for a time, you can find them on the aftermarket. Usually marked up to hell, but keep an ear to the ground and you'll find one at a reasonable price. Dollfie Icons are another option -- they have a more realistic face sculpt and come in some lovely colors, blue included. They are a nightmare on the aftermarket, but Volks tends to do one run of a new version of them each year, so keep an eye out and you may be able to get one directly.

Failing that, RIT Dyemore or i-Dye Poly are options. It will be imperfect, but it will be blue! Dye darker than you want, they lighten considerably over time. Another option is paint -- I believe Fubuki's owner used Krylon Fusion, but decant some into an airbrush if you have access to one and spray it on that way, it provides a far better texture for faceups than spraying it straight outta the can. In all cases except getting a doll cast in blue vinyl, there may be maintenance involved, but that's fine! Follow your dreams, anon!

From what I've read, i-Dye Poly works better than RIT Dyemore for vinyl, but YMMV on that front -- and anyway, make sure it's the synthetic dye and you don't use a copper vessel, it can react and make colors weird. All the best anon, I can't wait to see your results. (Also, dye her darker than you want, the color WILL lighten in the coming weeks. This is normal.) Joints tend to be the hardest part to recolor as well, it's 30/30/30 that they either won't take dye, take dye weird, or get super dark super fast. I have a few dyed dolls that have held up well... and some secondhand project dolls that have been spraypainted to hide the problems. Krylon Fusion works well but the texture isn't great.

Some talented people do that. I take photos of my dolls, instead -- the endgame for me is to dress them up and use them as models. The endgame for others might be just having them sit around and look nice. Others might use them as clothing models to practice tailoring, centerpieces in dioramas or roomboxes. There are a lot of ways to interact with dolls and the majority of them, rather than making money, are just a money sink. But most hobbies are like that.

I don't leave my house much anymore agoraphobia is a very dumb and inconvenient condition to live with, because I should be able to just tell my brain "your anxiety is founded on nothing", but unfortunately getting that brain to listen is a whole other matter. but when I do I try to make time for doll photos. People tend to be positively curious in my interactions, and most assume it's for some internet thing. The more you do it, the easier it will become! Scope out areas you might want to take photos in before you show up to find out when they're least busy, as well. Parks on cold days when children are in school tend to be deserted, for example. I think it's good that you're pushing your boundaries, anon. Keep working on it!

Don't be afraid to take your dolls out, anons. In the age of instagram people don't question whatever weird things someone might be doing in public.
