Kohaku's route being a rushed mess is no mystery, but I liked the catharsis. Maybe it's just because I have a fluid mind, my default assumption for others is the same.

Akiha didn't suffer for shit short of her blood which she literally delegated to Kohaku despite being intimately familiar with her trauma, Shiki lacking motivation beyond a weird lingering attachment probably comes down to it being a time of more prominent self-insertion so you having feelings going into the route is taken for granted, and I don't think retributional justice is ever right (applies to Kohaku too obviously) and if it all works out in the end it's fine.

I don't dislike Akiha, but seriously, she manages to be a bigger psycho-bitch than Kohaku and treats everyone but Shiki like shit. No-way-fagging SHIKI so apathetically and expecting different treatment is too hypocritical. I feel the biggest problem with the route is probably how conveniently Roa is used for conflicts unrelated to him.

Okay, I checked both. It's the exact same ending, you just get to it a bit earlier. Don't really know why they bothered with it, honestly.
And I found an easter egg I haven't seen before. This game is just full of surprises today.
