It had been a couple days since Lemontene accidentally found out about Mima’s revival & befriended the shut-in scientist Asakura Rikako and her janitorial robot. The little goblin had quite the time to reflect on all that had happened. “End of Gensokyo as we know it” huh? What a horrifying concept. Fairies don’t often need to think about the end of anything really, much less something as deep as existence itself.
Well, okay. Fairies aren’t THAT clueless. It’s just that due to never having to seriously worry about anything like death means the most experience they have to the concept of an ending is when that one ice cream store had to permanently shut down due to a rabid bullet ant & termite infestation.

Anyways, Lemontene decided to go back and visit the misty lake with what remaining time she had left. Despite not being the place she respawns at whenever she died, She basically considered it her home with how much time she’d spend there. It’d been a while since she last went there. Ever since the Hakurei Shrine Experience opened, Lemontene has been somewhat hyperfixated on operating her refreshment stand. When was the last time she ever took it easy & went stone skipping? Or just took time out of her day to hang out with other fairies her (mental) age anyway? Too long, that's for sure.

Waltzing into one of the lake’s most famous forest hotspots, Lemontene was greeted with an unusual site. It was a folic of fairies and some other smaller-tier youkai. But they weren’t happy like they usually were. Like they were supposed to. It reeked of a strange anger & vitriol. One that'd been brewing for a while.

Smaller post then I usually do for tonight. Apologies if it feels like I'm lagging behind everyone else and forcing themselves to stall for time. The drive just kinda comes and goes for me. Sometimes I just don't write anything at all despite having nothing else to do for the entire day. This storyline isn't even that big compared to some of the other ITT but it still takes me a month to get anywhere idk why that is
