Because it looks aesthetically pleasing? Figures are like ornaments in a way you get a beautiful looking sculpture. Take pic related for example. It's in the top "items on fire" on MFC, but I bet you can count on one hand the entire population who know much less played ChuxChu Idol. But goddamn it's a nice figure regardless.
