It won't. Machina's ber'iah isn't even an instant kill. It erases and ends the story of whatever he punches. I'll post the line in a second but esstentially it's an all ending fist, tangible, intangible, even concepts such as fire lighting and darkness would be erased. If Machina punched Lui he would have destroyed the world by erasing the concept of darkness.
