-You can maintain air superiority (280ish air power) if you replace Ark's Suisei with a +10 Iwai FB, replace Yura's radar with a seaplane fighter, replace Choukai with Pola, Zara, or a CAV, and arm both her and Mogami with 2 guns, 1 scout plane, and 1 fighter. I find that having CAs with artillery spotting is more useful than having one strong CA and one dead weight. Yura's AA isn't particularly necessary since the only airstrike you'll face is at the boss, and that one shouldn't be a huge threat after your land planes wear them down.

-Either swap out Yuudachi for a lucky destroyer, or move Ayanami/Garibaldi into the flagship spot and give Yuudachi two guns for PT removal duty. If your Yuudachi isn't remodeled for luck, gearing her for cut-ins won't do you much good.

I assume you're saving Kitakami for E3. If you're also going to use Iowa, Johnston, and Prinz to fill out your escort fleet, then I think you can afford to drop Zara into E2. There's not much of a place for CAs in E3 otherwise. If you have both Johnston and Fletcher, then I think you can throw Prinz at E2 also.

I'll attach my fleet for reference. This one took me 13 sorties to clear.
