I just finished Wriggle vs SDM.
I'm no Wriggle fan, but I loved this one. In fact, I am completely enthralled by it. Are this guy's other works similarly enjoyable?

I didn't understand every last bit of it, however. What was Yuka's role, and exactly why was Wriggle able to use Yukari's gaps?

I personally like Chado, but I've heard a lot of rather reasonable critique on him from other people. Mostly, people are against his style of drawing action, it's messy and focuses more on everyone posing as cool as they can get instead of portraying the momentum. Like bad yankee comics.

Another thing (which, for me, is a bonus but for others, a minus) is the way he's really stuck on the power levels. Everything in Chados's work has to be EPIC and after that, it has to be even more EPIC. Worlds shatter, bodies pile up in heaps, the monsters are colossal and our youkai girlies are cutting them up into bloody mist.

It's so over the top I could believe people have issues with it. But then again. Chado can make anyone or anything bad-ass. Just take a peek left.

I read the Maruchira's comics available in gensokyo.org ftp (Kitten Girl and Why Did She Leave the Miniature Garden). You were right, they were awesome, heartwarming, funny and they kept it all together. Definitely another artist to look forward to.
