Well enough overall but there were some parts that sucked. Online friends that i was very close to all but disappeared and i sometimes get immense dread about the direction (or lack thereof) my life is going. I just want to OD with Kaguya.

Its a very bad argument imo but i see where it comes from, it coming from ZUN being inconsistent. Their powers are stupidly strong, especially with how vague and open ended they are in how they're named and described, see Boundary Manipulation. The gods and demons Yuyuko hangs out with are strong in their own right, they aren't literal whos. Reimu and Marisa are obviously strong too. Hourai immortals literally defy entropy, their souls are invincible.

No author ever powerscales. Its why characters and stories are inconsistent and annoying. He gives a character godlike power, they do godlike things and then they get destroyed by someone much weaker than them. It's like if he made a newhu who's power is subatomic particle manipulation and she turns literal stars and even dimensional spaces into cheese with ease. She uses her powers to make her body all but invincible and whoever she's fighting exploits a weakness of hers to beat her. She then appears in some random manga where she uses her powers to make ice cream and she stubs her toe and gets hurt. Then she's never heard from again because ZUN forgot about her. She's depicted as weak but you also cant ignore her when she was shown to be strong.

This is so frustrating. How is it that a Jojo guy like him doesn't put OP abilities to good use? He kind of did that with Yukari telling Reimu to use the boundary between seasons for her fight with Okina but he rarely ever puts overpowered abilities to good use. They either never get used or get retconned to not be so op. But that doesn't stop him from making an OP character but using that character in a more grounded story where she doesn't do anything with her powers. It's like he wants them to be strong but also weak at the same time. I think he just vomits out words on a page and doesn't think anything through.

/jp/ is the place for things relating to otaku culture that aren't big enough for their own boards, but don't fit anywhere else. Idols are a part of otaku culture, so are visual novels and touhou. Vtubers have their own goddamn board now, they're nothing but a virus that the mods and jannies won't get rid of. The JAV and gravure should be on boards like /hc/ but are big enough or have enough sympathizers that the jannies and mods leave them be.

If I had to make a guess /jp/ is too slow for the mods' liking so they allow those things to stay. Its also possible that tons of current staff are vtuberfags, which explains why they babysit those threads. Got banned for 24hrs once for telling the vfags they were unloved and to go back to their containment board, which shows an impressive level of patheticness. Or the staff is just extremely incompetent and/or small.
