Yes, it's interesting to look back at what was considered high quality. Sometimes I miss the simpler times when for all intents and purposes something like HD didn't even exist. Then I look at my old downloaded JAV, many of them are not even that old but from early 2010s, and it's impossible to fap. The old copy of PTJ-004 I had was completely unfappable blocky mess 240p and incomplete, that was terrible by the time's standards and I fapped to it only once if even that because it was such low quality that it was impossible to see anything what was happening. But, even some 240p were watchable. Now trying to watch 360p is almost always impossible. 480p or even 400p can be good or bad, it really depends. It feels like going in a full circle how some 1080p are blocky mess just like the old 240p for different reasons, but some older JAV also appear in shockingly clear 1080p...
