You have it mixed up your head. People's environments can make them better at things. Your brain's neurons might be arrayed more optimally at birth than somebody else's, making you better at thinking, for example. Tracing the temporal trajectories each of the particles in those neurons back, you'll find their 'momentum' originates from the first thing that ever happened, whatever that was. It's where the responsibility for everything that came after lies. But anyway, you can be better at things because of your environment and not because of some invisible or abstract factor assigned to you at birth.
