>how do I go back to my life after such a masterpiece?
I highly recommend reading the original manga by the genius Furuya Minoru. Sono's adaptation is very different, which, as a fan of the original work and its creator, is something I appreciate a lot. Only a great auteur like Sono would make a masterpiece like Himizu a different experience that is as impactful as the original. It reaches the level of apocalyptic bleakness and puts you through an array of emotions you never expected to go through.
