I tried that and haven’t found anything I liked so far.

Shield counters are an actual mtg mechanic. They block a creature from dying/getting blown up once. Im pretty sure they got released a year or two ago in the mafia themed set. This is the only card that currently uses them unless I make more Otohime stuff to support it, though.
