For example, I don't want any attribute points wasted on extra melee attack because I'm a gunner/pinch support caster, my right hand is a resist stick. I suppose I could put a pistol in my hand though. If I were a pure gunner and wore a shield I certainly wouldn't want proximity assist. It's almost totally customizable, it's not perfect but it easily could have been. I'd rather have a totally blank miracle piece of gear and fusion in only the attributes I want.

my understanding of item nomenclature is
