Good thing the lightning model exists as a consistent standard to reference. Also notice the small range, even when considering the variance between old cab monitors.

Being good and being wrong aren't mutually exclusive. If someone asks what the correct offset is (or isn't), I will tell them.

IIDX 27, lightning model:

Total latency: ~4.5 frames
Default true timing center: 1.5 frames early
Difference: 6 frames
Ideal offset: -3.00

IIDX 27, standard model:

Total latency: ~5 to ~6 frames (maybe more, there is a lot of variation between cabs depending on the monitor)
Default true timing center: 2 frames late (or 3 if operating in HD* mode as controlled by monitor model Adjust)
Difference: ~3 to ~4 frames
Ideal offset: -3.00 to -4.00, depending on the cab

SDVX V:

Total latency: ~4 frames
Default true timing center: 2 frames late
Difference: ~2 frames
Ideal offset: -8
