It's about visual novels (of which dating sims are a subgenre), difficult shoot 'em ups (some of which feature all-female casts), and figurines, sometimes of anime characters, sometimes of the above-mentioned shooting game characters.

I'm thinking about getting a standard netbook for classes with an Intel Atom 1.80GHz and Intel GMA950; I am wondering if I would be able to play all the official Touhou games with a good 60 FPS as well. I know the Atom is crap clock for clock and the Intel GPU is also crap but whatever, I'm on a $250 budget.

I'm sure there are some people in here with Intel Atom based netbooks that could tell me.

Because (as far as i know) there are bunch of witch-lolis, that are shooting shitload of projectiles, that i supposed to avoid, while i listen to awesome music...

Okay. Someone PLEASE explain this shit to me. I understand the basic premise of Touhou; difficult bullet hell games with flying cute girls instead of fighter jets or what have you. What I don't get is the INSANE fandom behind it. The waifu claiming, the arguing over said waifus, the music, the doujins, etc... How do danmaku games even have enough story to hold up this much fandom? Please enlighten me.

Dear /jp/ quick question , where did you download the touhou games if you remember. I'm new to them and am having a bit of difficulty finding them. I would prefer the original japanese unpatched. Thus far the best I found was the files hosted on doujinstyle.com

I however have no trouble finding the OST or doujins... what does this say about the games eh?

Or did anybody here actually buy them?
