It's a self-reinforcing thing, much like depression is. The fact that you recognise it's harmful and want to get out of it is a start. Baby steps, don't try to reintegrate entirely overnight. Write a plan and follow it. If you're full hikki to the extent of not even leaving the house then start to walk for take-out once a week or something, then build from that. Just the simple act of getting outside for 15 minutes like that always makes me feel better.
