On topic, I feel like Gensokyo is generally an okay place to live, with the caveat that the lack of modern technology would drive everyone here off the deep end relatively quickly. I would not last very long there for instance before I went insane due to a lack of video games and internet to divert my attention.

To outsiders, it's probably horrifying to imagine, but to those who're used to it it's perfectly fine.
