Yes you can, unless you go to certain places. For vtuber stuff, Futaba generally doesn't have leakage to other threads just like nobody here is going in the gameplay thread to yell about Pekora or whatever. There's vtuber reaction images in other threads or porn in the various porndump threads but they don't really get a bad reaction most of the time either, likely due to vtubers actually being relevant enough in Japan for it not to be as weird as seeing the same on like, /ck/ or something. But on other sites twitter? So long as you aren't looking through non-tagged posts or the rare chat-tag shitpost you'll see pretty much none of the darkness lurking in the hearts of every japanese autist. Niconico's the one where there's not really much you can there recently admittedly, though luckily that's the kind of autism that you can laugh at and move on with your life afterwards.
