I wouldn't say level3 is disappointing. I understand there was an edm influence there but it was definitely not as drastic as cosmic explorer. Although I get it. I honestly think jpn was a bigger disappointment. That was where nakata started to fall. I don't understand how he managed to have all the album only songs sound like he was imitating everyone that was imitating him at the time. Listen to my color and kokoro no sports and try and tell me it dosen't sound like every other electro pop artist at the time.

I don't really know why I rank level3 higher than jpn. I just think level3 had a proper concept and still definitely felt closer to a perfume album. I don't hate jpn, I just see it that way. Idk, just listen to level3 and try and tell me your not instantly delved in to the world they created with it. Right when enter the sphere starts. Try and tell me all those cool sounds don't get you and your captivated tell the end. It's not number one for a reason, but it's also not in last place
