At the IM@S production studio, as a rule they like to ensure that every character at has at least two clear purposes in the story. Then they had a thought: they could have a character to act as a foil to all the good characters, one that could make the others appear to shine just by being dim, make a two-dimensional character look three-dimensional by having such a flat persona. They decided that, indeed, a character with such a purpose was needed to help ensure the success of the game.

Unfortunately, there is an exception to every rule.
