Gikei is a very clear case of a VN being unfinished but they absolutely had to ship it, the game is simply not done and it's extremely obvious. It feels like a 7th gen game where you can feel the point where they ran out of money or time and were told they have to ship what they've got, the early parts are fantastic and full of polish and the final battle is heartbreakingly bad. Even if they just released Gikei+ (actually finished version) I'd be there in a heartbeat, but I think they're cooked, sadly. It's a shame, their games aren't perfect but there's nobody else who does what they do and they're great at it.
