Cool, didn't know /jp/ had threads for 07th.

I just started with the original version of Higurashi, but once I found out that a new one had been made I downloaded that one instead.

However, I do not really feel like the new one is that much better than the old one in regard to facial expression and OST.
While the characters are better drawn, they also seem to display less emotion.

I mean, look at Rena's goofy face in the old version, it's cute as hell.
The new one just seems so... mediocre.
