As with all major updates with lots of changes bugs are to be expected. Did some testing with the lowering of INI on captured pets before I went live with changing the INI with party members. NPC for changing INI is in the Oblivion Palace.

Rather straightforward in figuring out what option changes INI. However, you will need to remove the precious ally status on your pets before changing their INI or they won't show up in the list for choosing. For the most part, the changing of INI works as advertised but I noticed for bitflag pets that strange things happen to their bitflags. They either change a bit or they get removed completely. Don't know if this was done on purpose so for now I think this is a bug.

I guess I will not be lowering my pet Akeno's INI due to not wanting her to lose her bitflags. Looks like I'll have to venture deeper into the void to get AP for her. INI values can be changed for the player's character as well which is nice but the reduction in skill and attributes is considerable. Looked at the changelogs and was like NOPE for my character Kai. No way I'm reducing my capped skills to make it easier to get AP. Remembering the grind from 1k of skill to 2k makes me shudder.

The save scum thing doesn't really affect me since I play Inferno however now that it's being stamped out I wonder if the save scum penalty for Inferno and possibly other modes will be removed if they're not already. If save scumming doesn't exist then there's even more reason to not punish us for when our game crashes.

On a side note, I remember the discussion that triggered Ano to implement these recent no save scumming mechanics. Ano started cracking down on save scumming after seeing a discussion of people talking about the best way to farm the blue spirit glove and at least one person recommended save scumming for them.

I can't look at these gloves the same way anymore. The gloves that would spark the save scum controversy. What amuses me is that the gloves, while good for that magic resist, doesn't strike me as a high priority item to get but maybe that's just me.

How does putting tonfas and claws in the hand slots of mutants effect their number of attacks? I know for a character with only two hands putting a tonfa or claw in will reduce their 8 attacks to 4. Probably the main reason I ditched them once I got my martial arts at a certain level despite the damage buff on the tonfa or claw.

If a mutant still gets like 8 attacks or more that's an interesting setup for sure.
