Pros:
-1850dmg with HE
-Only branch with AP rounds (~250 pen/1,850dmg with AP)
-T6 gets same gun as T7, more firepower sooner in tree.
-Best gun available the second you get a T7 if you get the 203 at T6
-Highest rate of fire
Cons:
-Best gun at T6, no improvement at T7
-Less HE damage then GW tiger
-AP round cost gold

The 212 (SU-14 and S-51 as well because they share the same gun) will do more damage then the GW tiger if it is using AP rounds. A direct hit with a round that can deliver ~1,800dmg ~250mm into the target will do more then a round with ~2,000dmg penetrating ~100mm.

In my opinion, the T8 Russian SPG will have a gun that will dwarf other T8 SPG's to make up for T6 and T7 sharing a gun. Historically speaking russian arty had higher calibers then german arty. Then again, if the GW tiger has a gun that is decades better then the T6 gun, the T8 gun could have just as much more power.

We won't know until they come. The US T8 may be a major threat with the 240mm gun it had.
