For what it's worth, I really do wish Amane had more roles that took advantage of her naturally deep voice.
I'm still kind of upset from that brief time following her debut when アンチ relentlessly flamed her for Mashiro's voice being uncharacteristically low while singing some of the earlier Morfonica covers. I definitely prefer that over having her throwing her voice artificially like you said.
Full disclosure, Morf's 秒針を噛む cover is still one of my favorites although some Japanese always seem to cite that cover as proof of her tone-deafness.
