Its not as if the both of you just stop producing heat once it gets cold. Once the two normalizes, the bodies will continue to produce their normal heat.
Yeah it'd be more work on your part, but think of Youmu!

That said, since she is normally a colder temperature, wouldn't she start sweating even more at normal human body temperature? She's probably one of those akward girls that gets really sweaty hands when holding hands or turns into a greased seal during sex from all the sweat.

That could be disastrous in the snow.
