Yeah, I'd only pay that much for really gorgeous and intricate full sets or limited sets. For just a single piece of clothing with only minor accessories, my limit is $100.00 depending on quality.

Lady Oscar's Odalisque set was 30,000 yen and is primarily a single dress piece, though it does come with shoes, stockings, fan, and tiara.
