If you really think about it, Kanata didn't really depend on others and deserve being called a leech. She was called a leech because someone started calling her that(no insult really defines her), which doesn't really match up. The only reason people started calling Kanata a leech that I can think of is that she was a roommate with someone more popular than her. Giving that she streams a lot, of course she would mention her a lot, contrary to that, we have Suisei who doesn't stream much and so escaped being called a leech. Kanata rarely do colabs and all in all is better as a solo-streamer. Everything doesn't match up. Therby I conclude that Kanata is not a leech and will never be one. By seeing the definition of the leech it is very obvious, but it seems like understanding something is very hard to some people.
