I have an EZMAX sitting in the shopping cart, but I keep seeing reviews that it "sucks for IIDX." (I plan to play IIDX, SDVX/KSM and DJMAX + who knows what else down the line). Why is this? Keep in mind I do not, and likely will not ever, have arcade access, so it's just me having fun at home with something more substantial with a keyboard.
If the argument is "it will train you improperly for arcade" then I'm not really that worried.
If the argument is "it dissolves as soon as you touch it and the buttons feel like they are covered in cum" (in other words, a complaint about the quality of the controller itself or its functionality), then I won't buy.
But so far, I keep seeing others online telling people "should have just gotten a dedicated controller for the game you want." I know it's not the specific design intended for SDVX, but it really does look "close enough" for IIDX, i.e. I'd be using the same fingering and hand positions as a real controller, and it also says the spacing is arcade accurate (using a USKOC right now anyway)
If I'm just a casual nigger will EZMAX work or is it really just hot garbage?
