I'm not going to argue semantics here. If strict gameplay differences is the only thing that matters to you then MoF may as well be a game with only one route, but fine, whatever.

Here is what my point is, in crystal clear format because you assholes are fucking dense and can't tell.

More characters doesn't mean much when you are decreasing the number of shot types, gameplay wise. The effort he put in on making the 6 different stories and shot types in DDC is more work than the work he had to do for the four characters in TD and presumably LoLK. Therefore I was arguing that realistically we could get six characters/one shot type each to compensate, as that is not that far off from the other games. The only thing he'd have to do more is more sprites, but I could argue that some games that had multiple characters per level (Prismriver Sisters, for example) and the number of sprites would be around the same, so nothing unusual there either.
