Natushi asks Eva to give her the master key, wanting to be the one to check her daughter's key. She pleads to at least be able to do that much, and Eva silently agrees. They head to Jessica's room and Natushi opens the door only to find the corpses are replaced with minced meat combined with scraps of their clothes. Natushi and Eva freak out, and Battler screams in anguish as the corpses have been defiled. They transition to the meta world where Riyu reminds Beatrice that she said she'd keep the disgust level low for his sake, to which she responds she changed his mind due to their calm demeanour. Riyu suggests that Natushi acted suspiciously the whole time, and that before he went to the rest room, she had time to go meddle with the crime scene, which Beatrice negates. He suggests that Shannon or Kanon could have done it, but she again negates that. Beatrice notes how much easier Riyu accuses the people of Rokkenjima, to which he protests and asks if Beatrice is so lame that he should expect it to be some other person, which she denies.

Regarding Riyu:
"[Riyu] has reasons of his own to defeat the witch."

First Twilight:
"Nanjo confirmed the deaths of all six people. There's no way he would mistake the status of a dead body."
