Stepping over the lawn, Reimu found herself shaking with drunken clarity, and even stranger, she felt like she could manipulate some boundaries. It seemed like she was already turning into a shikigami. Yukari had always said that she would take some kind maiden for her purposes, but it seemed like she was already taking her. Reimu was expecting somebody else. Now, she had to assume that Yukari was a youkai. She didn't have much longer to adjust to her new powers, but she still felt like she could jog to the edge of Gensokyo without eating people.

She threw dozens of bolts of cloth and tried a few physical touches, and Ran was pinned to the ground. It was obvious that Hakurei Reimu could cook a few youkai.
