I just realized Sotsu Witch Satoko in Mei has no anniversary quotes. Her voice already seemed kind of weird after I noticed she shared some voice clips with Dark Awakening Satoko, but I guess this confirms Sotsu Satoko is the one that was thrown together in spite of coming out first.

The brocon inserted herself into the story of Higurashi and gradually took control of it, to the point where everyone keeps obsessing over her even though she doesn't actually do anything of note.
She's now taking over the roles of other characters just to cement her position as new main character further, even stealing iconic scenes from them just to claim them for her own.

This is why Witchtoko wanted her dead so badly in her event. Kazuho's a parasite that ruins everything she touches and must be extracted by force before she does any more damage, though I doubt the cast actually has the balls to take the decisive action necessary to accomplish this.
