Baking is loads easier than cooking. Just gotta be more patient.

I'm at a pretty passable level of being able to make cakes and cookies and all derivatives and such, but can't seem to make frostings to save my life.

Anyone got tips or recipes that worked out well for them? Buttercream need not apply, even I can do that.
