"handling fee's" is what they charge you for declaring your shit. see it as administration costs.

holland's 3rd world country tier default mailing company pulls the same bullshit. even if the package is 1 cent above the duty free threshold they still charge full handling costs.

17 euro for EMS because its a "separate mailing route and thus more administration" yet it still takes them 2 fucking weeks to release your package.
12,50 for other shipping methods.

tldr: dont fucking bother with EMS in the EU due to bureaucracy and if you want your package FAST, pick a carrier who do their own customs declarations like DHL.
