Sharin failed to do this for me. Ever17, on the other hand, had me hooked from start to end with their life-or-death situation and their underestimating/avoiding the problem at hand.

Frozen in an infinite time loop, she spent eons in the washing machine. At times by drowning, other times by being crushed to death by panties, she experienced hundreds of new and exciting ways of death.
After a few thousand years she managed to find a way to disconnect the power cord by repeatedly hitting the wall from the inside to move the machine. At first doing this took hours of struggling each day, but eventually she became so proficient at moving washing machines from the inside that she became able to do it in just a few seconds.
With this, her life became a bit more normal. She became interested in science, and in a few millennia she solved the P=NP problem, invented time travel and the cure for everything. Of course, she couldn't share her exploits with anyone.

It's still out there, somewhere. The answer to the life, universe and everything, locked away in a washing machine.
