Ultimately, punk is a glorified power pop. You can't apply the label exclusively to grindcore or something.

There's, of course, a pretty good case for Choujuu Gigaku actually playing some hardcore strain of hardcore in what Mystia does with her guitar. But I wouldn't really mind either way. Punk is punk is punk.

She's singing too, as shown in WaHH. Probably background vocals to Kyouko, since it's hard to out-shout a living amp. And making people mad is the whole point of anti-establishment music. No-one said it makes them mad at herself.
