Size is also meaningless when you take in how grey matter is dispersed among the brain. The more surface area that grey matter covers, the more "intelligent" a being is. However the brain is rather small on just the surface, so the brain wrinkles into itself and greatly increases the top surface area for grey matter.

Hence, if humanity gets smarter or more developed in the future, our brains and heads won't grow larger, our brains will simply get wrinklier.
