I think the comp you picked for AL is probably just fine for both E1 and E2. Although you might wanna replace the BBs with DDs during E2 to go southern route. Just go grind a little bit to Kai and modernize your ships. It's especially easy to do with CV/Ls since you can flag MVP for 1k+ exp almost every time at 3-2a and you almost never have to swap them out.

You've still got more than 2 weeks left in the event so take your time. I'm currently grinding CAs and CVLs for E6 because I used all my best girls in MI thinking it was going to be hard.
