DL probably gives them responsibility in spite of their dubious agenda 'cos she's got little choice. Most monsters are dissolute fuckers who live in a ditch, and even the ones that aren't (vampires, dragons, etc) are too wrapped up governing their one little fiefs to be of much help to Mama Succubutt's grand plan. Hell, at lest one of her own daughters went down that path, Wonderland-ing it up.
