I've honestly stopped caring about such sentiments. I'm not even fully grown, I'm still young relative to the average age of /jp/sies. People whispering behind my back doesn't bother me, I'm going to be listening to music the majority of time I'm out. During class, I'll be focused on the lecture. I think it's fine for people to wear anything they want as long as it doesn't cause undue discomfort to other people, such as hate speech.

I can't really speak on Kancolle figures, but I have plenty of Touhou ones. I agree that it's nice to get a good quality figure. I actually intend to buy a fairly expensive one soon, it's something like 11k yen, but a figure isn't practical in this sense. I do need a raincoat.

Plenty of rain and cold temperatures where I live, it's just unfortunate that it's about to go into summer. I prefer winter and Autumn (Fall) anyway. I was quite surprised about 5k too. Pic related is 11k from memory, and isn't fully waterproof.
