Does make you wonder what the MGE setting would look like if it was directly translated to be more modern.
Would the Order be some authoritarian theocracy state? Would the Mamono realms be a joint alliance of the different mamono states for the purpose of dealing with the order? Would they themselves be lead by a monarchic "demon queen" or would they be individual states more like a mamono version of NATO, with the demon queen just as head of the most powerful mamono state? Interesting concept to play around with about at the very least.
