Bey had some borderline gaylust going on in Dies Irae. It's really amusing and over the top.
The VN is yet another one of those ultra long chuuniges with rather vexing pacing issues but it's worth it for the characters and interactions, especially the boys unironically. Great villians and that soundtrack is peak.
I'd probably give it another go in Japanese once I manage to get through a good deal of my untranslated VN backlog.
