A bit of both, I suppose. I've loved Saya for a long time now, and it just so happens that the only plush (and really only merch of note released in the past years) was a fumo. Would I have bought her plush if it was a different company? Of course, but it is still nice to see a well known plush company making it, since a carnival-tier plush would have been bittersweet.
The only other one I have on pre-order is the alt Reisen since she is my favourite touhou. I would have rather picked up the IN design if I had the choice (my favourite game by far) but you all know how it goes.
