Why don't you open up the scope of discussion a little? You can still shitpost and have a misplaced sense of elitism, but your discussion material will be more varied.

I think that the people who you report in /jp/ for "quality threads" are simply trying to add a little variety, to join you in talking about new things. They aren't here to shitpost or get banned, that's just your paranoia talking. Not everyone is from /a/ or /v/.
